The 2021 Holiday Shopping Event is here with a new format, in part because of the COVID -19 Pandemic, but also because we wanted to make this day ALL ABOUT THE SHOPPING. This is a vaccine-mandated event. We are asking guests to email or text proof of vaccine because, to be honest, the “apps” that allow for uploading proof of vaccination were simply too expensive – they charged per guest. We are trying to find a cure for cancer and help those in need…unnecessary expense in my opinion. Sorry for the inconvenience.
We’ve kept our continental breakfast on the bar in the Cocktail Room from 10 am – noon and have replaced the formal sit-down luncheon with lite lunch bites being passed around from noon to 2 pm. Soft drinks and Notorious Pink Rose wine will be served all day. Michelle’s Candy Table will be fully stocked for those of you with a sweet tooth. We’ve also expanded our vendor space and invited many more vendors to join us to bring our guests more variety and better selections for their Holiday Shopping. So PLEASE PLEASE save your shopping for December 8th.

THE GO WITH COURAGE HOLIDAY SHOPPING EVENT
The Holiday Shopping Event has become a Roslyn tradition. The Event has found its permanent home at Temple Sinai in Roslyn, catered by the incomparable V & Z Catering. Admission requires a modest “suggested” donation to cover our costs. Goody bags are reserved for the first 250 guests who register.
Fabulous vendors from all over the region set up booths to sell their merchandise and Go With Courage accepts a 20% donation of all pretax sales for the day. In recent years, we have invited guest speakers to promote their books and share tips on the health and fashion industries. We might return to this format after the COVID-19 Pandemic completely resolves. Time will determine that. We have incredible Raffles, an “always in demand” Silent Auction, in addition to a giant raffle Blow Up Board featuring a Poll Restaurant Gift Certificate and a gorgeous Marled by Reunited Clothing Cashmere Sweater as a “thank you gift with purchase.” Notorious Pink is flowing throughout the day as our wine sponsor and Lysse regularly donates merchandise from its current collection that we sell at special “Holiday Shopping Event” pricing.
