In 2015, in partnership with the Sid Jacobson JCC, Go With Courage opened the We’ve Got Your Back children’s program. This long-awaited and critically important program was designed to support families while a parent or child is in cancer treatment by helping with meals, childcare, homework, tutoring, recreation, transportation and house care so “well” children of all ages can get the attention they need during this difficult time. If you can imagine the need, this program aimed to meet it.

The program is no longer at the JCC. It is now being run more as an overall “family support program” from the Go With Courage home office in order to save overhead costs and to allow its Founder, Robyn Jaslow, to oversee and allocate funds in accordance with the many and varied requests made by families, which come in from so many regional sources.

During the COVID-19 crisis, We’ve Got Your Back was able to deliver hot meals, provide meals cards and arts and crafts to children living in families affected by cancer. In furtherance of its history, We’ve Go Your Back supported Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center by making a donation to its food bank.
